OurMoney: Plan Your Money — com.ourmoney.app
OurMoney is an offline budgeting app. Your income, budgets, categories and entries are stored on your device. They are never uploaded to us, and we do not operate a server that receives your content.
Nothing. OurMoney has no account system, no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no crash-reporting service and no tracking of any kind. It never connects to your bank or e-wallet; every amount in the app is one you typed in yourself.
The release build does not request Android’s INTERNET permission, so the app has no way to send anything over the network.
All of it is saved in the app’s private storage using Android’s standard preferences. Under Android’s security model, other apps cannot read it. Nothing is saved until you finish onboarding.
OurMoney does not request any Android permission — no internet access, no location, no contacts, no camera, no microphone, no SMS and no storage access. Exporting a file goes through Android’s share sheet, which needs no permission.
Export data (in Settings, or the share icon on History) builds a PDF report or an Excel workbook for the months you choose — including your budgets, categories and entries — and hands it to whichever app you pick in the share sheet (email, chat, cloud drive, file manager). What happens to that copy afterwards is governed by the app you sent it to. OurMoney does not upload it anywhere.
OurMoney does not opt out of Android’s built-in Auto Backup. If backup is turned on for your Google account, Android may include the app’s data in your device backup, which Google stores in your own account and uses to restore the app on a new phone. We have no access to that backup. You can turn it off in your phone’s Settings under Google › Backup.
OurMoney is a general-purpose budgeting tool. It collects no data from anyone, including children.
If the app ever gains a feature that transmits data (for example an optional cloud sync), this policy will be updated before that feature ships, and the feature will be opt-in. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will be revised with every change.
